Surveying many km's of power lines using the very latest gyro stabilised IR camera systems attached to a helicopter, makes Symbion Power an extremely cost effective partner.
Our camera system is fully radiometric, allowing detailed analysis of normal conductor temperatures against abnormal hot-spots. This is what makes our system stand out from other thermal imaging cameras that are predominately used for 'police' type activities, that only find the hotspot and not actual temperatures throughout the thermal gradient.
Accurate temperature calculations against given load values can be determined by the input of the load value at time of survey, and the maximum load value the asset was designed to withstand. This helps asset managers to prioritise faults and work patterns.
Post survey data is analysed and exported into an easy to read PDF report that can be distributed as requested.
