Symbion Power was formed in 2000 after the acquisition of AC Power. We have over 16 years of experience in the electricity supply industry, and employ a select group of staff to carry out their duties as surveyors and observers, all of which have a sound knowledge of electricity networks and are all ex regional electricity company trained. Our chief observer has over 4000 hours of aerial patrols to his name setting the standard for our level of expertise.

Our main work involves us working closely with UK and Irish Helicopter companies to carry out engineering and safety patrols of distribution network operators overhead line networks. Because of our close working relationships with them, we have built up a very good reputation as leaders in our market place in aerial overhead line inspections.

We are an innovative company and strive to bring the latest in technology to our customers in order that they may benefit from them to help manage their assets more cost effectively, and always be in control of their future commitments to their customers.

Symbion are one of the few companies in the UK that specialise in thermal image and corona discharge patrols from both the air and the ground, and use the very latest in technology to carry out these services.
